Being so close to her
To be able to touch
And hold her
To kiss her soft lips
And feel her body
Press against mine
Holding and caressing her
Intimately every moment
That I could
To be with her after
Being gone for so long
Caused a rush of emotions
As I spent that miraculous
Time with her a new
Feeling grew inside me
Was this real
Does she really love me
As I gazed upon her
Freckled nose and deep
Into her beautiful blue eyes
I realized without a doubt
From that one look
My baby loves me
