The Day You Left

Sitting down in a dark cold room,
Thinking of what we had and feeling so confused,
If we liked each other so much why did it end so soon?
Tears of blood fall every time I think of you,
I wanted the rose but I just got all the thorns,
Pieces to pieces my heart’s been torn,
For our love and your present I mourn,
Looking to the stars to the sky I scorn,
The day you left was the day love died and sadness was born.
