When you look at me
When you look into my eyes what do you see?
Do you see a girl who is quiet in class who won’t speak up?
Do you see a scared little girl?
Do you see a Daddy’s girl?
Do you see a teachers pet?
What do see when you look at me?
How can you look at me with one glance and KNOW who I am or WHAT I’m about
You can only know me if you get to know me
And not judging me by my appearance
I refuse to be known as the
Quiet girl in class who won’t speak up
The scared little girl
The Daddy’s girl
The Teachers Pet
I am my own person and I hope that you will see that when you look at me
