plentiful is the water
beautiful is the crop
my tears are increasing
my pen just won't stop

the heavier the spring falls
the pressure on the pen
the words just keep flowing
traveling once again

tributaries flow to rivers
rivers to the ocean
my feelings flow across the page
expressing my emotion

writing my thoughts of sadness
instead of venting to my friends
proves to be cathartic
and allows my heart to mend

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because it shows how i feel towards sadness. I feel that anyone can write anything and it can be good but in order for it to be great it has to have inspiration. When a person is sad, i find it much easier to write. This is what i am indicating in this poem. Sadness increases the quality of writing.
