Night Games

When darkness creeps into the light
Vision is consumed by night

Shadows dance along the wall
Soon they will consume us all

Then disappear out of sight
Into the deepest of the night

Like a curtain it covers thee
Listening to no prayer or plea

Darkness blinding frightened eyes
A horrific phantom in disguise

Whispers echo in the halls
Coming from within the walls

Shadows fade into gray
So begins another day

And here ends this tale of fright
To begin yet again another night

This is a great poem because it's something we can all relate to at one point or another.
You should check out some of my stuff. I think you would like it.
