"You Are What You Eat"
“You Are What You Eat”
I am attractive, yet murderous
I wonder when the calories I possess will take affect
I hear the teeth gnawing against me in delightful pleasure
I see the yellow of such insides forming around the many organs of one’s body
I want to be attractive, yet murderous
I pretend to appear gentle and kind
I feel in control when the line to have me grows longer
I touch the taste buds that seek out to taste me
I worry to lose consumers that keep me alive and growing
I cry when seeing consumers taste the colors of green
I am attractive, yet murderous
I understand that I am not good for the wellbeing
I say it’s almost time for my consumer to let go
I dream to be chosen once more before my consumer walks away
I try to make an effort to keep my unhealthy state alive and still growing
I hope to keep convincing my consumer that I am always going to bask in glory
I am attractive, yet murderous
