Pick a partner;
Play as a team.
Roll the dice:
Move ahead three.

Pick a card--
Backtrack one.
The dealer rolls;
Their turn is done.

Across the board
Pieces dance.
Players fall,
They've lost their chance.

Closer and closer,
Obstacles abound.
Just one more move,
We've won this round.

Play Again?

This poem is about the "game" of dating...working to find a successful (winning) relationship. I bet you wouldn't have thought that had you only read the poem, and not the description. Tell me your thoughts. Thanks for reading :)
