A Race to Heaven
A white feathery cloud
Covers my view of sight
I blindly toddle to the light.
Helpless as I can be,
I fall as I reach for aid
A glow of light shines down
A beautiful angel maybe?
Courage rises in my spirit
A silent whisper, I hear nearby
‘Reach for the gleaming light’
I reach with all my might
Closer and closer, I’m almost there,
Eager to fulfil that command.
As I touch the bright light,
Shock awakens me….
Tears fall,
Succession filled me up
I can start once more
Gone is the doubt forever
Happiness awaits for my coming
