The Rain
Rain clouds appear
No one is outside
As the rain begins to fall
Everyone runs to hide.
Drip-drip
Lightning cracks across the sky
And all have run away
The rain is falling harder, now,
but outside I choose to stay.
Pitter-patter
If there's one thing I know for sure
From all my lifelong years
It's that I love the rain because
It hides all of my tears.
