Vanity lies in the shallow pools of beauty
A balance must be between depth and pleasantry
Do not look among the self unkown
The mission changes as you go
Blinded by the surface you can be
But the black of depths you have to see
Time is but an investigative tool
To truly see a gentleman's fool
After the line is used and spent
Pressure the wounds left to mend
As your mind wanders far above
The other is patient with your love
