If I were a poet,
I would rhyme,
And my woulds would tickle,
Your ears and it would all
be very,
Clever and all of that.

And then,
I would write,
Quatrains and shape poems,
And maybe a limerick or two,
But probably three just,
Because I like them,
That much.

So, if I were a poet,
And a good one at that,
I would make one last,
Attempt,
At a rhyme, so...


The author's comments:
As strange as it sounds, I came up with the end poem in my sleep. When I woke up I was pretty confused :)

This piece has great potential. I feel the premise is delightful, but I don;t know about the examples you give to what you would do. It's a cute poem.
