Destined to fail from the start,
never having a chance.
Her thoughts aren't what hold her back,
it's statistics that say she's destined to fail.

Statistics show if your parents have a kid as teenagers you're likely to share that fate,
statistics show when your a kid and you see constant drug abuse you're likely to share that shame,
statistics show if your dad is and alcoholic you're likely to share that monstrosity,
statistics show if your mom has been sexually abused you'll share that pain,
statistics never gave her a chance.

We all have a chance to choose our fate,
and she won't choose failure.
