Spiral

No one knows the exact weight of such a heavy burden
No scale can tell
No doctor, therapist, or former patient
Knows how to make you well

It’s personally fitted, it’s globally known
It takes a loving mother and rips her from her home
A father’s child now has no guide
One more husband without a wife by his side
A teenager lost, silently screaming for a hand
But none have a map of such a dark, twisted land
A hellish playground depression is
Okay for a second, down the next
Emotionless
