A hand to hold,
A kiss on the cheek.
A look in the eyes,
And a smile to seek.
A touch so bold,
A secret to share.
A kiss to keep,
And a heart to tear.
A tear on the cheek,
A painful look in the eyes.
A heart breaking,
And a hurtful bunch of lies.
Aches and pains,
Fights and tears.
No one to run to,
No one to fight your fears.
This is life,
You have to live it.
And fight your battles,
As well as throw a fit.
Maybe this wasn't what you wanted,
But you got it anyways.
You only get one life,
So fulfill each of your days.
