Ode to a Writer's Block

I’m in Creative Writing
And I don’t know what to write.
A story? Narrative? Maybe song?
Would a poem be alright?
A writer’s block
Of the worst degree,
Such an unfortunate thing for me!
How could you, oh writer’s block
Be so unfair?
You make me want to pull out my hair!
I’d scream if our classroom would allow,
But my teacher would have a cow!
All I want is my brain to work right
So I could find something good to write.
