Breathing in the mountain air
Watching all the deer go by
Sitting watching just to stare
All of the eagles in the air
Hoping that they do not die
Breathing in the mountain air
Kneeling down to say a prayer
Wishing so that I could fly
Sitting watching just to stare
The rest of the world I do not care
Animals give me great big sighs
Breathing in the mountain air
The hunters way is not to fair
Finding animals to make them die
Sitting watching just to stare
Seeing animals walk in pairs
All these animals I see don’t lie
Breathing in the mountain air
Sitting watching just to stare
