They Speak
I gasp for the air behind your grace
yet to survive we must share the space
I try to understand the words written on your face
But continuously they speak on their own
Convincing me otherwise when I’m alone
The thoughts in my head don’t choose to lose
I control not, to acknowledge the lines
But sketch my preferred lies
The told is nothing but a mere disguise
If only you knew the effort that was volunteered
By the touch that cures all that you’ve feared
Look into the eyes that see your visions
Now have you taken back all of your decisions?.
