Diamond with its yellow glow,
when cleared can give a sparkling show.
Yet Rubies red, and Saphires blue,
cannot compare to the eyes of you.
For Pearly white and Emerald green,
Give your eyes the perfect sheen,
and when dark, a glow appears,
from your eyes to thunderous cheers!
My love for you knows no end,
And for you my heart doth rend.
For yours is big & grand, enough said.
While mine is withered cold and dead.
But I'll love you 'til the end of time,
for you are a sweet cherry and i am the sour lime.
I see the annoyance when my shoe is wet, not dry,
Whereas you see the dew on the grass and love them, don't lie.
You are the Majestic tree at the top of the hill,
but i am the stinkbug seeking something to fill,
the emptiness within my heart,
And this is just the start,
of all the praise you deserve and,
to you i'd give all the land,
on earth and more, the sun,
for both of us to explore as one.

The author's comments:
Just after seeing the person this is about the day before i wrote this while my group was supposed to be doing a lab in 5th period Earth and Space Science with Mr. Scanlan. This person is about (you'll know who you are), but she now despises me and this poem is a painful reminder of once was and could have been. Now i am stuck being single and with a broke heart that can't seem to mend.

What you should get out of this is don't entrust your heart to a person you don't trust...

P.S. I could not find a pic of a green eye so i guess blue will do.
