Depression

Depression takes a toll on the heart and on the soul,
It's a numbing like no other,
and the pain makes it hard to recover.
Hiding behind the lies with a smile across your face,
Its so hard, it can't be trusted, its a complete disgrace.
Crying at night, Smiling during the day.
Swimming in the thoughts of grief and dismay.
Let's be miserable together, so i don't have to be alone.
I feel so small, and i stilll have not grown.
In the dark, in a shadow.
There's no way you can relate.
I am drowning in depression, maybe that is my fate.
