Ode to Dummy

Once my love
My dearest friend
Never fading, never wanted to end
Once your light shined so bright
Now dimming into the night
Your smile, your touch
Made me weak
Then you turn the other cheek
And when rejection occurs
You expect me to embrace your return
Oh dear dummy!
Player, wannabe
After all you’re still in my heart
As a scar pleading to be healed
To your game I could say farewell
My side of the story is still to tell

It's cheesy but true!
