O Lord My God

January 22, 2010
O Lord my God
I seek, I stand
Ever searching in this land
of doubt and fear for peace and grace.
O God I look for your embrace.

O Lord my God
Please hear me pray
Stay with me please
Through night and day

O Lord my God
Come walk with me
Daily, Lord, I want to be
a servant set on earth, not sand,
forever Lord in your command

This would be great to use as an actual prayer. I think I might use this to pray tonight. It's really beautiful.

Hey ChickenBoy! I know it's been FOREVER, but I came back to Teen Ink a few months ago, and I have a poem with a chicken metaphor that's just been submitted (so it won't be out for a little while). I just thought of you and thought you might like it :)

Correction: nonfiction, not a poem.
