A painted on mask
like a clown
it fools you all

because when i frown it stays the same
and when i cry my face stays dry
its plastered on tight
secured

keeping me safe
keeping me away from you
keeping me thoughtless
keeping my mask on

because when someone see's behind that mask..
what are the going to see?
me.
