Life in a play
The lights are out now on my stage.
 The mics are put away.
 The stagehands have all gone home to bed
 There's no one to hear me say
 I was here, I lived, I loved, I laughed.
 I played my part with care.
 I was, I went, I walked, I talked;
 in my play, I was there.
 The house is almost empty now.
 Some left esrly in the show.
 The people who had helped my play
 the number I'll never know.
 It's time to leave the theatre now.
 I take one last look around.
 Into my new found character,
 my new life I must abound.
