My Knight

In the Dark night
I hear a shadow.
My breath quickens
And my heart races.
The fear rushes over me.
I'm frozen.
The shadow moves closer.
I can hear every sound,
The leaves,
an owl,
A branch snaps.
My scream dies in my throat.
I can see the shadow now.
Its very hungry.
The forest has become quiet
It wants my blood.
And slower
It moves closer.
It is now apon me.
I hope you lived.
It grabs me.
I hope you know
that I love you
I wish that,
I had told you,
I close my eyes.
The pain,
slowly goes away.
My love,
My knight
