White Heaven

White Heaven

In nature, it is very white,
And even sometimes light and bright.

This beauty is called snow,
And it drops down so quietly as if I did not know.

But then, the harsh wind went “SWOOSH!” through the air and blew fast,
And the snow was beneath my feet at last.

As I walked into the soft, swift snow,
The wind pushed me vigorously and uncontrollably as I yelled “Oh no!”

For a while, it seemed as If I could not breathe, could not see
As the snow bombarded the ground at a speedy rate, which had me wanting for hot tea.

Just then, nature showed its grace and its mercy, when the snow and wind calmed down,
Yet again, it sped right back up again, deceiving the whole town.

I put a coat and some gloves on to warm me up and make me tough,
But it just wasn’t good enough.

So, I ran inside my toasty house that felt as if it was warm as an oven,
And I stared out my living room window and realized that I was in heaven.

There it was,
The wind was blowing away and the snow kept falling down as it always does.

From the inside, it is a wondrous treasure and certainly a beauty,
When outside, it instantly transforms into a treacherous creature, like an evil monster, that only makes its presence to fulfill its duty.
