The mornings I wake up, and drive past the beautiful fall trees
The colors gleaming bright in the sun
Reds, yellows, bright, bright oranges
I have an attitude of gratitude for the air
It moves though every person, every being and everywhere
Always there when you need to just get away, step outside and get some fresh air!
I’m thankful for all the people that have to courage to do what others refuse
The doctors that save lives everyday.
Never taking a vacation or holiday off.
Volunteer firemen who risk their lives running into burning buildings
Not knowing whom the person is, man woman or child.
But capturing them and not only fighting for that person’s life but in the mist,
Not even thinking of their own…
That’s what I’m grateful for
