The man behind the muppets,

The voice behind the Queen,

The ties of all our families,

The bar with all the scenes,

The family of the A80s,

The writer who is dead,

The father of three sons,

The country of the Reds,

The Wall 'n' Man of Steel,

The rabbit among man,

The angel on the highway;

The Sam of "Sam I am,"



And so such things must come and go.

Before things come again.

And so I say good bye to all;

Whom I considered friends.
