Gashes deep as a thousand bashes
Goes along with a composed face after lashes

Black and blue bruises across her face
He walks away like this relationship’s a game

Air contaminated with sorrow and pain
Her desperate need to get away
?The victim of one who she loves
Every step overshadowed by his show

The truth is replaced
Thoughts are oppressed
Denial takes place
She doesn’t want to believe he ledt

She pushed everyone away
Left alone, isolated from all
Feeble in judgement
To build a wall

The breeze of sorrow lingers around
And then she goes home
There he is again
An apology at the tip of his tongue
So she waits another day
To be loose of the abuse
