Hammer?
You can’t write a poem about a hammer
It would be smashed
And nailed down
Stuck to a pole and left there
You can’t write a poem about a hammer
It would hurt way too much
Broken fingers would just keep happening
You can’t write a poem about a hammer
You would need help from a carpenter
And need
A nail
A 2x4
An instruction book
But you shouldn’t write a poem about a hammer
When you could be fixing
That hole in your house with them
Or nailing that lost dog sign to a pole
