Two boys paralyzed at the top of the stairs,
Their eyes following an undefined shadow below,
Looking at the door all they see is a glare,
A frightening tension starts to grow.

They look each other straight in the eyes,
Knowing they are thinking about a similar plan,
They ran to their room to grab the supplies,
Their nightmare had just began.

Footsteps traveling down the hall,
The boys close their eyes and pray,
They set up their trap and grab the maul,
But the footsteps stop- there is a delay.

As they ran to the window and began to look around.
The man entered their room without saying a sound.
