When hate is normal and peace informal,

I wonder why we think of stability.

Is it that we are just visionaries?

We, no doubt, have the ability,

Or is there more to peace than magic and fairies?

I would certainly like to think as much.

Yet, why is it some-thing we can not touch?

Science and philosophy hold they key.

At least they do for me.

Philosophy reveals the nature of logic.

Science follows its suite.

Their powers are more than magic.

Indeed, I always knew it.

Thousands of years ago upon farming’s advent,

We see that Satan, to earth, was promptly sent.

He scoured the land in search of great wealth.

He sacrificed his care and his health.

With property and power as his obvious goals,

He set about creating a Hell-of-a-place.

This it did spread from the desert to knolls,

And the world was locked in Satan’s arm-race.

With chariots and fighting,

Kingdoms of greed were installed.

At least scribes invented writing,

But their cities were walled.

Walls are no problem, you think in your head.

Yes, but what is it they are used for?

Ah, why keeping enemy men out by the score.

And contributes to the numbers found dead.

It is all one big cycle, and you know of the name.

The cycle of violence, you see, is no joke and no game.

Still, people play it all the days of their lives.

From children to husbands and even the wives!

How do we stop these atrocities vile?

You might not like… but trust me you must.

I am about to knock you over a mile.

Leave “civilisation” to rot in the dust.
