I can't have myself love you
the way that i once did
i cant have myself see you
i'm afaid i might skid
because the road is icy cold
when my heart feels warm
and the sun still shines
even though its torn
stop playing with my vision
you know you have no part
it may be best of both of us
that we search alone apart
i tell myself its not a game
but i know i dont want to lose
so before you win my heart again
you should know that you must chose
i can't have myself feel
until i know it's real
i can't let you through
until i know you're true
