Waking up at five
Early Birds, I feel like I could die

As everyone seems to complain
I look, and their faces are plain,

What dreams I could have at this time away
We do more work in a morning than most do in a day

Now that I am a senior
I try to be a leader

By showing how I will never quit
While doing this intense workout I will finish it

I gave everything I had
For this football team, I’m glad

To be the best it can be
And lead our team to victory

I wanted people to understand, mainly my teamates that the kind of workouts we are put through in football will all pay off. And not until you are a senior is when you look back and start to miss these things no matter how much you hated doing them.
