Chicago Sports
Always changing with each season.
Basketball to baseball with no reason.
Chicago sports are always inconsistent.
Da Bears and playoffs always seem so distant.
Each team seems to always find a way to lose,
For this action they are rained with boos.
Goals are scored in the Madhouse on Madison,
Home runs by the visitors at Wrigley are always thrown back in.
Inside Soldier Field, the Bears play.
Jay Cutler’s throws put the fans in dismay.
Konerko mans first base at the Cell,
Long balls being hit make the fans yell.
Madness occurs with each Buehrle pitch,
No hitters and a perfect game bring the fans out of their ditch.
Outcomes determine the mood of the city,
Peeing in troughs at Wrigley? Oh, what a pity!
Quarter 4 ends…another Bulls loss,
Reality strikes and fans pray to their cross.
Savior is what Cutler was supposed to be,
Too bad each game he throws an INT
Umpires toss Ozzie and Lou,
Very excited fans turn the stadiums into a zoo.
When Cubs fans think, “This is Our Year”,
X-rays show injuries that cause their eyes to tear.
Year after year, our dreams have been crushed
Zipping downa toilet that has just been flushed
