"Do not to unto others, what you don't want done to yourself." --Eleanor Roosevelt

Pocketing the expectations of others around,
there's not enough room to put a foot down.
Incredulous, though it may seem,
this is something to which I believe.
Talents a many, where attentative is one,
a prologue to life, mine has just begun.
A support system on which I lean on,
shattered between a crack, a guilt, weighting a ton.
Can you hear me mend the hole,
and set off the scale to balance, to equally hold.
My heart cries of company to which it never gets,
You come knocking on its door, a sound I'll never forget.
You came and filled that void,
with an impartial choice.
Be my guide and I will never hide,
or stand on shaken ground disregarding to your very sound.
I choose to stay sane,
and choose to travel by on your soul-searching plane.
Send me far to travel deep and far,
to keep me from the hell depths of tar.
Keeping me safe is what you'll do,
for I know it was the love to be given to you.
