Who was the man that wore the mask?
The man whose shadow o'er me did cast,
Whose enigmatic presence pleads us ask,
Who was the man that wore the mask?
Who was the man that wore the mask?
Who when I am in distress, proceeds to laugh
Whose lacerated angel's blood runs black,
Who was the man that wore the mask?
From the heavens his hand descended down,
Pulled me under, and yearned me drown,
Shed his mask, and smiled at me wry
Said he was God, and then said goodbye...
So, who was the man that wore the mask,
Who clothed his word, and prospect craft?
