My Class Distraction

Teacher talks I do ignore; she’s such a bore.
I spy a fly who yelped for help.
The fly lay on the ground lost and confounded.
The fly cried for his outside world.
He wished not to die a lonely fly.
He rolled in the mold and lost all control.
Silence came over and rested the pest.
The fly died, I say my good-bye.
Today I obeyed and did my work.
I wrote of the fly that cried for a friend,
Until he met his very end.

Base of a true event in class I was heavily distracted in school and didn’t to my real assignment. It made for a great poem and for those of you who care the fly didn’t die and I opened the window saving his life.
