My poem for you
I ask for your friendship, you ignore me
I tell you a secret, you tell everyone else
I want you to understand, but you just don’t
I wish you wouldn’t hurt me, but you still beat me down
I wish I didn’t love you, but I know it’s useless
I want to kiss your lips, you want to kiss hers
I want you to hold me tight, but you slam me to the ground
I want our memories to last, you drink them away
I ask for your heart, but you tell me I’m worthless
I smile at you and say “It’s alright.” You tell me I suck
I tell you I love you, you tell me that you hate me
I love you so much, and I always will
You hate me so much, and you always will
