Image That You See
You look me up and down.
And all you see is me.
This image is reflection
Of what's inside of me.
The scars on my arms
And the pain in my eyes.
It's the only clue
Of what's on the inside.
The image that you see
Is the only door.
It's the only clue.
That I'm bleeding from the core.
This image of me
Dripping with my blood.
Showing all my pain
From not being so unloved.
The image that you see
Covered in all black.
That's forever me.
Love is what I lack.
I never open up
So they're afraid of me.
There's nothing left at all.
Just this image that you see.
