Butterflies

I had her in my arms
she had used her charms,
to get to my heart.
now i never wanted to be apart,
she smiled a way
that always took my breath away.
she looked at me and
my insides went crazy.
she touched my cheek
and i couldnt speak.
i held on to her waist
hoping to get her lips to taste.
i stroked her cheek after many tries,
for everytime i tried i got butterflies.
