Joseph Jacobs
dressed in black
packs his pack
and walks out on
the cul de sac
While he walks
he won't look back
on all the things
he ever lacked
like money for
a cadillac
and Lucy's love
(to state a fact)
Some will say
"He should've stayed!"
and wonder why
he walked away
but if he searched
to find the truthe
he'd find himself
upon a roof
and Lucy would be
on the news
identifying
Joseph's shoes
with love in hand
by name of Bruce.
