"We all have one life. And we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice who we are, or to give up on our beliefs. That is a fate more terrible than dying." - Joan of Arc

By now my heart may not be whole
but after coming this far
Even with this broken soul
Even with these scars
With each battle more I'm winning
I'm closer to the end
With each regret forgotten
There comes a helping hand
Each oncoming obstacle
Seems mightier, but I climb
Even with fears growing
Fears of treacherous decline
I keep moving, I keep on going
I suffer through the pain
Cause now that there's less to lose
there must be more to gain
Cause I know, Even with reaching the top
My success would be in vain
If I am not to suffer or fall
or drift through seas of pain
So when,at last, I reach my time
When I make my name
I will thank every one of you
I'll thank you for the pain

I find poetry can be viewed differently from different readers. I know what it means to me, but I wanna know how you'll interpret it. Input is appreciated. Also I couldn't think of a name. Can any of you'll?
