A dream come true
I see you everyday
 In my dreams
 Your breath taking smile
 And beautiful blue eyes
 Reflecting you every emotion
 Your every thought
 Your eyes lost in mine
It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced
 The moment is perfect
I couldn’t ask for anything better
 Then you are gone
 Just like that
 I wake up dazed
 I still can see you
 Tears roll down my eyes
Wanting the brief dream to be true
I sit up, knowing I must get ready
 I dress in a daze
Still closing my eyes to see your face
Wishing I didn’t have to go
So I could dream about you

 I walk in to class
 Talk to my best friend
 I didn’t have to say a word
 She already knows
 I receive a hug
And a warning not to turn around
 My day just got worse
I still have you in my mind
 Getting lost in MY eyes
 Not HERS
 Wondering when you will see
 When you need and want
Sits in front of you all day long
I go through the rest of the day
 Hearing your voice
Just once I want it directed to me
I get up and to go lunch
You right in front of me
 Not knowing I exist
I sit down next to my best friend
 We watch and talk
I hate seeing your arm around her
 Next class is history
The only class where I sit behind you
The teacher starts reading off pairs
 I perk up
Praying I will get to be your partner
 The teacher says your name
 With god on my side
 She says mine next
 You turn around
Smile the way you did in my dream
 I smile back
 We start working
 To my disappointment
 We barely talk
 The is about to ring
 I start packing up
 Feeling your eyes on me
 I look up
 You smile at me
 And ask for my number
 My heart starts beating faster
 I get nervous and hesitate
I’m not sure why you want it
But I give it to you
And smile talking it from me
I swear the whole room can hear my heart

 Later that night
 I’m thinking about you
I had your attention all class period long
 I could have said anything
 But I didn’t
Hating myself, I get a text
 It’s a number I don’t recognize
I read it and its from you
My heart beats with a little disappointment
You ask what the math homework is
I tell you and turn off my phone
So I won’t have any more disappointment
 I went to bed disappointed
I fall asleep thinking of you

 Your breath taking smile
 Beautiful blue eyes
 Closer than the night before
 I see your emotions
 Clearer than before
 Your eyes lost in mine
 Your arms around me
 I’m melting in them
 Dazed
 The moment is perfect
I couldn’t ask for anything better
 Then your gone
 Just like that
 I wake up, sad
 Wishing you would finally see
You and me are meant to be

 I turn my phone on
 4 missed calls
2 calls and 5 text from you
 One text said answer me
 The other says call me
All the other calls and text are from my best friend
They all said check his profile
 I race to my laptop
Logged in and typed in your name in the search bar
Miracles of all miracles it says your single
 I shriek with pure joy
For the first time in my life
I thoughtfully pick out my outfit
I do my make up and hair with lots of care
I’m still jumping with joy when I get to school
First period come and goes and your not here
 I go to lunch, miserable
 My friend and I talk
I tell her about the part of my dream
 She freaks
The bell rings and I head to history
 I walk through the door
 I stop in my tracks
You are sitting on my desk
I slowly make my way to you
 Your eyes are red
 I ask what’s wrong
You say, “you didn’t answer me.”
 My heart stops beating
You continue, “I needed to talk to you.
I needed to tell you something.”
 I can’t breath
You stand up and close the distance
 Your arms come around me
You’re smiling at me with your breath talking smile
 Your beautiful blue eyes
 Lost in mine
Tears are streaming down my face
 It’s finally happening
Your face is inches away from mine
You whisper. “I love you, I’ve loved you since I met you!
You are the only girl I have ever wanted.
I was pressured to date my ex-girlfriend.
 I always knew your name..
I dream about you every night.

You need to know I love you, more than my own life!”
Tears are still running down my face
I couldn’t believe what you just said
 You wipe away my tears
I look deeply in your eyes
And say, “I love you too!”
You smile your breath taking smile
You lean in closing the last couple of inches
 You kiss me so tenderly
You pull back a few moments later
Tell me you love me over and over again
I get lost in your eyes
And then you pull me back into a kiss
 It takes my breath away
And I know I will love you forever
And you will love me forever too
