Over Time
When I think of the way things used to be,
it brings those salty tears to my eyes, you see.
We were always so very happy together,
and you told me you'd love me forever.
I miss the way you spoke softly to me,
you spoke in a tone so smoothly, so sweetly.
But now I cannot, I cannot exchange.
I guess I'll have to accept the change.
