-You-
I don’t know what to say to you
When silence invades our private conversation
On the telephone
And I don’t know how to talk to you when I feel
Like things are crumbling
I wish I knew what you wanted
And what I was to you
And I wish you knew just what I wanted
And what you were to me
The games we play back and forth are foolish
And sometimes hard to bear
And still I sit and listen
And make my move when you’re done with your turn.
I’m tired of being alone
Even when you’re with me
And I’m hopeful that this will end well
Even though it hurts
More than taking a bullet
I think it might be worth it
Just to know your there
