Lonely Road

This is my road; no one knows.
This is where the nowhere go.
Things are learned and things never known,
Save my soul lonely road.

I've witnessed broken bones, blood shed,
Mental scars, voices f***ing with my head.
Bare feet calloused, I feel not,
Eyes are cataract, skin boiling hot.

My only friend - asphalt construction,
Look in my mind - internal combustion.
The crumble of each inch, my shattered heart,
And ne'r this society can ever glue it back apart.

Fire burnt you - unsafe erosion,
Insanity screaming - maniac explosion.
Blood-curdling, but I've no veins,
My lonely road, bring back my dreams.

So you walk this road of lonesomeness,
Hoping it'll give you what you need best.
Meaningless figures left behind,
There's no medicine to ease your mind.

So many times I just feel like I am walking alone... the only road I know.
