As I Lay

As I lay here with the one i hold dear,
I clutch her hand in deep fear,
Saddened and Restless unsure ambitions,
As I look at her on the mattress cushions,
Perfect and beautiful in every way,
Wishing we could be together until we're grey,
As I lay here with the one I hold dear,
I gaze at the sight as her life disappears,
