The things that people feel a need to say
Make its way around in a day.
The gossip, the rumors, and all the talk
That can be heard all around everywhere you walk.
There is no need to spread that rumor
But people just say “oh its all in good humor”
Soon someone is feeling really hurt
Because that rumor makes them feel like dirt.
People say sorry all the time
But they don’t realize they’ve already committed the crime
But after all of this, sorry doesn’t mean a thing
Because this rumor has already caused a broken wing.
