Life is like a one way road,
There's no turning back,
No retreating to your humble abode.
We learn to defend, and we learn to attack,
We keep fighting on, never giving up,
Every one in awhile we may take a break,
Sit down and breath, fill your cup.
Life is something that one cannot fake,
You live how you want,
Making memories along the way.
Those memories sometimes creep and haunt,
They sometimes make you turn away,
They make you want to pretend they didn't occur.
Life goes by so fast,
At times, its all but a blur.
