Reminiscing
Holding on to a memory,
too sweet to forget.
It's so hard to live,
with all this regret.
Summer brought warmth,
And rain came with fall.
But winter brought you,
who I love most of all.
The snow still reminds me,
of the day we first met.
And the spring's painful light,
of my one last regret.
For another time
For another laugh
I'd give all the world...
If you would only come back
Now it's all over,
You've gone too far away.
Please know that I love you,
I only wish you could stay.
